No. On ByHomeOwner only sellers are identity-checked; renters are not. A renter provides contact details when posting, but we do not verify their identity, email or phone number. Wanted-to-rent ads include budget, household size, preferred move-in date, and any employment or reference details the renter chooses to share. Please do your own checks before sharing personal details or arranging a viewing.
You'll see a live list of renters whose wishlist overlaps with the location and budget you entered. Open any wishlist for the full requirements, then use 'Contact renter' to send a message — the renter is notified by email and in-app.
