Verification is free and has two steps: confirm your identity once for your account (ID document and a liveness check), then add one document showing you're entitled to advertise this property (HM Land Registry title, a recent mortgage or council-tax statement, or a power of attorney). We also check the address and your listing details automatically. Clear-cut cases pass automatically; anything unclear is reviewed by our team, usually within one business day. Once both steps pass, your listing goes live with Identity and Authority badges and stays free forever. Your verification lasts 45 days for rentals and 90 days for sales, and we ask you to confirm the property is still available every 21 days.
